Why and how can we optimise our energy consumption?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

There are many benefits to be gained from measures to optimise energy consumption<\/span><\/b>: lower bills and less exposure to volatile energy costs, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, greater comfort and increased asset value from better insulated buildings, better remote control of energy use (building management systems), better environmental ratings for products from more efficient plants, etc.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public policies provide incentives <\/span><\/b>(<\/span>White certificates<\/span>, public subsidies<\/span>, etc.) <\/span>or impose targets to reduce consumption by 10% within 2 years <\/span><\/b>(<\/span>F-Gas directive, mandatory energy audits, etc.)<\/span>, but it is above all a question of operational efficiency.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Any approach to energy transition must start with the basics: measuring, limiting and then reducing consumption, while maintaining quality of service or usage.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
